I started Angel Heart Designs in 1985. I attended California College of Arts and crafts in Berkeley California, I also attended the Aegean School of Fine Arts on the island of Paros in Greece, where I studied sculpture for 2 years.

As a tole painter I started painting on children's furniture, but as my three sons outgrew Angels and Hearts years later..I was looking for a new medium and found clay, I fell in love!

Clay was very easy for me to design with. I love the challenge as a designer and create new designs all the time. A flower child at heart, I enjoy making flowers from clay, and other mediums. From making flowers my creativity has bloomed into much much more.

I also discovered pouring from molds. I love to collect vintage molds and alter the design just a bit to add a unique one of a kind piece.

As a self taught ceramicist, and with the support from a local ceramic studio years ago, you know who you are.. that I bugged constantly and asked a million questions..I was able to learn and create a style of hand building that is functional and happy.

I am blessed with a family who puts up with all the dust of a ceramic studio..and lets me have my creations in almost every room of our home..did I say I like roses?

I live near Seattle Washington with my husband, grown children, and my dogs, who are great assistants!
